What We’re Looking For

• 5+ years of experience with Java and distributed/event-driven systems
• Strong hands-on experience in Apache Kafka administration and architecture
• Practical experience with AWS MSK and AWS cloud services
• Experience handling Kafka-to-AWS migration projects
• Strong knowledge of MirrorMaker 2 or Kafka replication technologies
• Good understanding of Kafka brokers, topics, partitions, offsets, replication and consumer groups
• Strong Linux/Unix administration and troubleshooting skills
• Experience with Kubernetes, AWS EKS/ECS and CloudWatch
• Knowledge of CI/CD practices and DevOps environments
• Ability to troubleshoot production issues involving performance, connectivity, latency and availability
