📊 Government Opportunity Development
– Identify opportunities across state-level education and related government departments.
– Track initiatives in departments such as Education, Skill Development, Social Welfare, Tribal Welfare, and related programs.
– Monitor state budgets, government schemes, and funding channels.
📑 Tender & Bid Management
– Track upcoming tenders at pre-RFP stages and gather early insights.
– Manage the complete tender lifecycle from opportunity identification to bid submission.
– Ensure proposals meet technical, commercial, and compliance requirements.
🤝 Government Stakeholder Engagement
– Build relationships with state and district-level officials, procurement teams, and decision-makers.
– Represent the organization in government meetings, forums, and industry events.
– Maintain strong engagement with stakeholders throughout long procurement cycles.
🔗 Partner & Consortium Development
– Identify and collaborate with system integrators, technology partners, and channel partners.
– Develop partnerships for joint bidding and project execution.
– Coordinate with partners to build competitive proposals.
📈 Sales Strategy & Pipeline Management
– Develop and execute state-level revenue strategies.
– Maintain a strong pipeline of government opportunities.
– Track deal progress and manage follow-ups until closure.
🏢 Internal Coordination
– Work closely with product, finance, legal, and operations teams for proposal preparation.
– Ensure timely submission of competitive and compliant bids.
🎓 Required Experience
– 6 – 10 years of overall professional experience
– Minimum 4 – 5 years in Government Business Development
– Experience working with government tenders and procurement processes
– Familiarity with GeM and state e-procurement portals
🧰 Preferred Background
– Experience in Education Technology, ICT solutions, digital infrastructure, or system integration
– Experience working with state education departments or government digital initiatives
