🛠️ Key Responsibilities
⚙️ Backend Development
– Develop and maintain backend services using Java, Spring Boot, Kafka, and REST APIs.
– Build scalable microservices-based architectures for high-performance applications.
– Write efficient and optimized SQL queries using PostgreSQL or similar databases.
🤖 AI & Data Integration
– Build AI-enabled APIs that expose machine learning and generative AI capabilities.
– Integrate LLM services, vector databases, and embedding pipelines into backend systems.
– Implement prompt orchestration, caching, and monitoring mechanisms for AI services.
☁️ Cloud & DevOps
– Containerize applications using Docker and deploy them on Kubernetes clusters.
– Work closely with DevOps teams to improve deployment automation and system scalability.
– Monitor and maintain production environments to ensure reliability and performance.
🤝 Collaboration & Development
– Collaborate with product managers, architects, and frontend teams to design scalable APIs.
– Conduct code reviews, unit testing, and debugging to maintain high code quality.
– Mentor junior engineers and contribute to team knowledge sharing.
🎓 Required Skills
– Strong experience with Java, Spring Boot, Kafka, and REST APIs
– Experience building scalable microservices architectures
– Proficiency in PostgreSQL and SQL-based databases
– Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
– Knowledge of Python, Node.js, and JavaScript for backend integration
– Familiarity with Git version control and Linux/Unix environments
– Experience with unit testing frameworks such as JUnit and code quality tools
⭐ Nice to Have
– Experience with GraphQL or other API frameworks
– Knowledge of data streaming or message broker systems
– Familiarity with Agile development methodologies
– Experience with HL7 integration or healthcare data systems
– Exposure to project tracking tools like Jira or Confluence
