Academic Counsellor (EdTech Sales)

Key Responsibilities

📞 Student Counselling & Engagement

– Handle student enquiries via calls, WhatsApp, email, and in-person meetings

– Provide career guidance and academic counselling

– Understand student goals and recommend suitable programs

🎯 Sales & Conversions

– Convert warm leads into enrolments through consultative selling

– Handle objections and build trust-based relationships

– Achieve monthly admission and revenue targets

📋 Admissions Process

– Manage end-to-end admissions lifecycle (enquiry → enrolment)

– Maintain accurate records of leads, follow-ups, and conversions

– Ensure smooth onboarding of students

🤝 Collaboration & Outreach

– Participate in webinars, seminars, and counselling events

– Coordinate with marketing and academic teams

– Stay updated on industry trends and courses (AI, Data Science, Finance, etc.)

🎯 Candidate Profile

– 1–4 years experience in EdTech sales / academic counselling / admissions

– Strong communication & persuasion skills

– Comfortable with targets and conversions

– Experience in lead handling / tele-calling / counselling

🎓 Preferred Background

– Candidates from EdTech platforms, coaching institutes, or training academies

– Exposure to student counselling and career guidance roles
