MEP Site Engineer

🛠️ Key Responsibilities

📋 Site Coordination & Execution

– Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure project readiness before site takeover.

– Supervise site execution across HVAC, Electrical, Firefighting, Fire Alarm, PA systems, and Plumbing.

– Ensure work is executed as per approved design drawings and project timelines.

👷 Vendor & Contractor Management

– Ensure adequate manpower availability from vendors and contractors at the site.

– Coordinate daily activities with contractors, vendors, and project teams.

– Monitor contractor compliance with required licenses, documentation, and site registers.

📦 Material Management

– Raise procurement requests for project materials as per design requirements.

– Ensure proper receipt, unloading, storage, and issuance of materials at site.

– Maintain records of materials received, consumed, and pending.

🔧 Quality & Project Monitoring

– Conduct sample mock-ups for design approvals before large-scale execution.

– Monitor project schedules and highlight delays or variations to the project leadership.

– Prepare weekly project progress reports with status updates and site photographs.

⚠️ Safety & Compliance

– Ensure adherence to site safety protocols and use of PPE.

– Monitor and approve permits for hazardous work activities.

– Ensure installation, inspection, testing, and commissioning of MEP systems.

📑 Project Closure & Handover

– Prepare snag lists and ensure closure before project completion.

– Verify contractor measurements and billing submissions.

– Ensure complete handover documentation including as-built drawings, testing reports, and equipment details.

🎓 Preferred Qualification

Degree / Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering
