π Key Responsibilities
πΊοΈ Territory & Market Development
– Map outlet universe across GT, HORECA, pharmacy, institutional & quick commerce channels
– Identify and develop high-potential micro-markets
– Create and execute beat plans ensuring 100% outlet coverage
– Monitor and guide field sales team productivity
π Distributor Management
– Appoint and manage distributors across micro-territories
– Ensure DMS hygiene, stock availability, and zero stock-outs
– Drive sales team efficiency (van/feet-on-street productivity)
π Sales Execution
– Achieve primary & secondary sales targets
– Ensure product availability and SKU placement across outlets
– Drive trial to repeat conversion through retailer engagement & schemes
ποΈ Merchandising & Visibility
– Ensure strong in-store visibility in impulse zones (counters, cash points)
– Deploy and maintain POSM (danglers, trays, clip strips, etc.)
– Execute local activations and sampling drives
π Planning & Inventory
– Build SKU-wise demand forecasts
– Maintain optimal stock levels at distributor and retail points
– Minimize expiries, damages, and ensure timely claim closures
π Data & Reporting
– Track daily performance via SFA/DMS tools
– Generate weekly insights and action plans
– Monitor competitor activity and market trends
π€ Relationship & Compliance
– Maintain strong retailer and distributor relationships
– Ensure adherence to pricing policies and company guidelines
– Resolve market issues within defined timelines
