🔹 Key Responsibilities
🧭 Strategic Leadership
-Define and drive the overall architectural vision aligned with development strategy
-Lead master planning, concept design, and detailed design development
-Provide strategic inputs during land acquisition, feasibility studies, and project positioning
🎨 Design Management
-Lead internal design teams and manage external consultants
-Ensure innovative, market-aligned, and sustainable design solutions
-Review and approve drawings, specifications, and BOQs
-Drive value engineering and optimal space utilization without compromising quality
🏗️ Project Coordination & Execution
-Collaborate with Structural, MEP, Landscape, Infrastructure, and Construction teams
-Ensure alignment between design intent and site execution
-Monitor design timelines in line with construction schedules
📜 Regulatory & Compliance
-Ensure compliance with building by-laws, zoning regulations, fire norms, and environmental requirements
-Liaise with statutory authorities and approval agencies
-Oversee documentation and regulatory submissions
💰 Budgeting & Cost Optimization
-Support project budgeting from concept stage
-Drive cost control through material selection and value engineering
-Evaluate consultant and vendor proposals
🌱 Sustainability & Innovation
-Integrate green building standards (LEED / IGBC / GRIHA)
-Promote energy-efficient and environmentally responsible design
-Encourage adoption of new technologies and modern construction methodologies
🤝 Stakeholder & Team Leadership
-Present design concepts to leadership, investors, and clients
-Partner with Sales & Marketing to align design with market positioning
-Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing architectural team
-Establish SOPs, quality benchmarks, and design governance frameworks
👤 Desired Profile
🎓 Education
-Bachelor’s / Master’s Degree in Architecture
-Registration with Council of Architecture (preferred)
-Additional certification in Urban Planning or Project Management is an advantage
🏢 Experience
– 20+ years in architecture within the real estate / developer ecosystem
-Proven track record of leading large-scale residential, commercial, mixed-use, or township developments
-Experience managing projects from concept to handover
🛠 Technical Competencies
-Strong proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, BIM, SketchUp, and related tools
-Deep understanding of local building codes and regulatory frameworks
-Expertise in master planning and high-rise developments
