Key Responsibilities<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Design & Engineering Leadership<\/p>\n\n\n\n
-Lead end-to-end design and engineering activities across projects.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
-Ensure timely release and review of all designs and detailed drawings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
-Ensure designs comply with applicable fire safety codes, standards, and regulations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
-Provide technical guidance to project and site teams during execution.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
-Review installations and commissioning activities to ensure alignment with approved designs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
-Ensure accurate preparation, maintenance, and handover of design documents and reports.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
-Drive preparation of as-built drawings for timely project closure.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
-Support pre-sales activities with technical inputs and design validations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
-Optimize project costs through design efficiency, line balancing, and value engineering.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Process Improvement & Strategy<\/p>\n\n\n\n
-Strengthen design processes to improve material planning and reduce lead time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
-Collaborate with supply chain teams for effective project planning.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
-Develop short-term and long-term design strategies aligned with business objectives.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
-Support annual planning and forecasting through trend analysis and technology assessment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
-Ensure design plans align with project execution plans through regular reviews.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
-Drive SOP creation, documentation standards, and quality control measures.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
-Reduce rework, wastage, and poor quality through structured reviews and audits.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Team & Stakeholder Management<\/p>\n\n\n\n
-Lead recruitment planning for the design function in coordination with HR.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
-Define roles, responsibilities, KPIs, and performance expectations for team members.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
-Conduct regular design reviews and weekly progress meetings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
-Mentor and develop the design team through structured training programs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
-Ensure smooth coordination with vendors, consultants, and clients.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
-Handle internal escalations related to design documentation and technical issues.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
MIS & Reporting<\/p>\n\n\n\n
-Maintain design trackers and MIS for all active projects.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
-Prepare system-wise guidelines, best practices, and technical checklists.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
-Ensure complete design compliance across all deliverables.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Required Skills & Expertise<\/p>\n\n\n\n
-Strong expertise in Fire Protection Systems and MEP coordination.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
-Hands-on experience with BIM Modeling and Revit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
-In-depth knowledge of systems such as sprinklers, hydrants, and related fire safety products.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
-Strong understanding of compliance standards and regulatory requirements.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
-Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
-Ability to manage multiple projects with a focus on quality, cost, and timelines<\/p>\n\n\n\n
