Role Overview<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

We are looking for an experienced QA \/ Editor \u2013 E-Learning<\/strong> professional to ensure high-quality instructional content for the Ciena Learning Program<\/strong>. The ideal candidate will have a strong editorial background, a keen eye for detail, and expertise in instructional design and e-learning standards.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Key Responsibilities<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n
    \n
  • Review and edit e-learning content for grammar, structure, tone, and consistency (UK\/US English).<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Ensure content aligns with learning objectives and instructional design principles (Bloom\u2019s Taxonomy).<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Conduct QA checks for e-learning modules, ILTs, WBTs, and related training materials.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Collaborate with instructional designers, developers, and content creators to enhance content quality.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Maintain editorial standards, templates, and version control documentation.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Provide feedback to improve clarity, readability, and learner engagement.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Support accessibility and inclusive language best practices.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Mentor junior editors and contribute to process improvement initiatives.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

    Required Skills & Experience<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n
      \n
    • 7+ years of experience in Editing \/ QA for E-Learning or Training Content<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Excellent command of UK & US English<\/strong> with adaptability in tone and style.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Strong understanding of Instructional Design<\/strong> and Adult Learning Principles<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Hands-on exposure to Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate<\/strong>, or similar tools.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Proficiency in content structuring, readability enhancement<\/strong>, and editorial QA.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Experience working in fast-paced environments and managing multiple stakeholders.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n
