Role Summary<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n
The Assistant General Manager (Interiors)<\/strong> will be responsible for the overall execution, profitability, and business growth<\/strong> of the company\u2019s interior projects.
This leadership role involves strategic planning, project management, client engagement, and team leadership<\/strong>, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and with at least 15% profit margin<\/strong> while maintaining exceptional quality standards.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Key Responsibilities<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n
Strategic (Approx. 25%)<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n
\n
Define the strategic direction and priorities<\/strong> for project execution and company performance.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
Collaborate with the Board and Management<\/strong> to set organizational goals, budgets, and growth objectives.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
Conduct periodic performance reviews<\/strong> to assess project outcomes, profitability, and ROI.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
Develop integrated business plans<\/strong> to optimize market share, profitability, and operational efficiency.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
Instill the company\u2019s core purpose and values<\/strong> across teams through effective leadership and motivation.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
Prepare and monitor project budgets<\/strong>, ensuring timely completion with minimum 15% profit.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

Implementation (Approx. 50%)<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n
\n
Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, and vendors<\/strong> for smooth project execution.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
Oversee the planning, staffing, and execution<\/strong> of all interior projects to ensure quality, timeline, and cost compliance.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
Ensure timely client billing and payment collection<\/strong> across projects.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
Review and approve extra items\/variations<\/strong>, ensuring client buy-in and profitability.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
Ensure availability and engagement of qualified sub-contractors<\/strong> at standardized rates.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
Represent the company at key forums and act as its public relations officer<\/strong> with clients and government bodies.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
Build internal leadership capacity by identifying and developing potential leaders<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

Managerial (Approx. 20%)<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Review project results against objectives and initiate corrective actions<\/strong> as required.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
Maintain a clear communication structure<\/strong> across teams, defining roles and accountabilities.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
Evaluate team performance and implement training and improvement plans<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
Foster an effective organizational culture<\/strong> encouraging collaboration and innovation.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
Oversee tender rate finalization and approval<\/strong> for new projects.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

Ensure robust internal controls<\/strong> via regular MIS reviews and checkpoints.<\/li>\n\n\n\n

Preferred Qualifications & Experience<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n
\ud83c\udf93 Education:<\/strong> Postgraduate in Civil Engineering \/ Architecture
\ud83d\udcbc Experience:<\/strong> Minimum 7 years in a senior managerial or leadership role<\/strong>, preferably in Interiors \/ Construction \/ Real Estate<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
