This is a key role in a small team of engineers reporting directly to the CTO.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\">\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Key Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Linux PCIe Device Driver Development:<\/strong> Design, implement, and maintain PCIe device drivers for the Linux kernel.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Collaboration:<\/strong> Work closely with hardware engineers to define requirements and troubleshoot issues.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Performance Optimization:<\/strong> Optimize driver performance for reliability, low latency, and high throughput.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Documentation &amp; Reviews:<\/strong> Write and maintain technical documentation and participate in code reviews.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Open-Source Contribution:<\/strong> Contribute to the upstream Linux kernel or other relevant open-source projects.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\">\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Skills &amp; Expertise:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Experience:<\/strong> 15+ years in Linux device driver development, with a focus on PCIe devices.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Linux Kernel:<\/strong> Deep understanding of Linux kernel architecture, including kernel modules, memory management, and debugging tools (kgdb, ftrace, perf).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Programming:<\/strong> Mastery of C for low-level, performance-sensitive code.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>PCIe Protocol:<\/strong> Comprehensive knowledge of the PCIe standard, including enumeration, configuration, and interrupts.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Device Driver Lifecycle:<\/strong> Experience with resource management (DMA), interrupt handling, and power management.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Soft Skills:<\/strong> Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and excellent communication for working with cross-functional teams.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\">\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Qualifications:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Bachelor\u2019s or Master\u2019s degree in Computer Science, Electrical\/Computer Engineering, or a related field.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Proven experience with version control (git) and automated build\/test systems.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\">\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n<\/body>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>To apply: share your resumes on rashmita.r@mitrhr.com and khushboo.a@mitrhr.com.
