About the Role:<\/strong>
We are looking for a Senior Travel Consultant<\/strong> to join the tours department of an internationally established travel company (operating since 1986). This role involves crafting customized travel experiences for clients, primarily from the UK, to destinations across India and abroad such as Maldives, Dubai, Thailand, etc.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Key Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\n
Sell international and domestic holidays<\/strong> to UK-based clients<\/li>\n\n\n\n
Provide end-to-end itinerary planning<\/strong>, travel consultation, and post-booking assistance<\/li>\n\n\n\n
Demonstrate strong knowledge of travel destinations and proactively learn about new locations<\/li>\n\n\n\n
Handle escalations and ensure excellent customer satisfaction<\/li>\n\n\n\n
Work rotational shifts and be available up to 23:30 IST<\/li>\n\n\n\n
Maintain long-term client relationships<\/strong> and deliver exceptional service<\/li>\n\n\n\n
Coordinate with internal teams and stay updated on travel trends<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n
Preferred Candidate Profile:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
\n
Minimum 5 years of experience<\/strong> in holiday sales (UK market experience is a plus)<\/li>\n\n\n\n
Must have personally travelled<\/strong> to international\/domestic locations<\/li>\n\n\n\n
Strong sales orientation<\/strong> and incentive-driven approach<\/li>\n\n\n\n
Knowledge of GDS systems<\/strong> (e.g., Amadeus, Galileo)<\/li>\n\n\n\n
Excellent command over spoken and written English<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n
Destination knowledge is mandatory<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n
