Role Summary:<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n
We are seeking a highly analytical and process-driven Manager \u2013 Budgeting & Cost Optimization<\/strong> to lead the financial planning, budgeting, and cost control functions. The ideal candidate will have deep knowledge of cost accounting, production budgeting, variance analysis, and MIS reporting in a manufacturing setup.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Key Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n
\ud83d\udd39 Budget Planning & Analysis<\/em><\/h4>\n\n\n\n
\n
Prepare the annual production budget and long-term business plan in line with company strategy.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
Monthly unit-wise budgeting aligned with business goals and company policy.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
Conduct detailed variance analysis<\/strong> between budgeted and actual costs using production progress reports.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n
\ud83d\udd39 Cost Optimization & Controls<\/em><\/h4>\n\n\n\n
\n
Analyze product-wise unit cost and identify areas for cost reduction<\/strong> and efficiency improvement.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
Evaluate resource costs and operational expenses to suggest optimization measures.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
Perform supplier performance reviews<\/strong> covering pricing, delivery, and contractual terms; introduce a supplier grading system.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n
\ud83d\udd39 Inventory & Financial Analytics<\/em><\/h4>\n\n\n\n
\n
Review and analyze inventory to implement best practices in inventory control<\/strong> and reduce holding costs.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
Conduct ratio analysis<\/strong> to support strategic financial decisions.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
Assist in setting up formats and dashboards for real-time, data-driven decision-making.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n
\ud83d\udd39 Reporting & Automation<\/em><\/h4>\n\n\n\n
\n
Prepare periodic MIS reports<\/strong> to support management in operational and strategic decisions.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
Introduce automation in reporting formats for real-time visibility<\/strong> and improved turnaround time.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
Provide financial insights, reports, and documentation as requested by leadership.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n
\n\n\n\n
Skills Required:<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n
\n
Strong analytical and numerical skills<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n
Proficient in MIS tools<\/strong>, Excel (pivot, VLOOKUP, dashboards), and reporting automation<\/li>\n\n\n\n
Knowledge of ERP systems is a plus<\/li>\n\n\n\n
Keen eye for cost controls<\/strong>, audit preparation<\/strong>, and data-backed decision making<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n
\n\n\n\n
Preferred Profile:<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n
\n
CMA-qualified<\/strong> professional with 5\u20138 years of experience in budgeting, costing, or finance within manufacturing\/production environments.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
Proven track record of handling budgeting cycles, variance analysis, and cost optimization projects.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
Comfortable working with cross-functional teams including production, procurement, and finance.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n
