Key Responsibilities

Finishing Works Management

-Plan and supervise finishing activities including:

-Flooring and tiling

-Marble and stone work

-Painting and plastering

-False ceiling installations

-Joinery and carpentry

-Doors and windows

-Railings and fixtures

-External façade finishes

-Ensure execution as per approved drawings and specifications.

-Monitor finishing progress and quality standards.

Quality Assurance

-Maintain high workmanship and finishing standards.

-Coordinate inspections and quality checks.

-Ensure approvals of materials and samples before execution.

-Drive defect-free handover standards.

Planning & Scheduling

-Develop finishing schedules and milestone plans.

-Monitor project timelines and completion targets.

-Ensure proper sequencing between civil and finishing activities.

-Track daily and weekly progress.

Contractor & Vendor Management

-Manage finishing contractors and specialized agencies.

-Monitor contractor performance and productivity.

-Ensure compliance with specifications and safety standards.

-Validate contractor billing based on progress.

Cross-Functional Coordination

-Coordinate with:

Design teams

MEP teams

Procurement teams

Quality teams

Project teams

-Ensure alignment between design intent and execution.

-Resolve technical and coordination issues.

Cost Control & Budgeting

-Track finishing costs against approved budgets.

-Optimize material utilization.

-Reduce rework and wastage.

-Support value engineering initiatives.

Handover Management

-Lead snag identification and closure.

-Conduct pre-handover inspections.

-Ensure readiness for possession.

-Support customer inspection processes.

Safety & Compliance

-Ensure adherence to safety standards.

-Maintain compliance with construction regulations.

-Promote safe working practices on site.

-Timely completion of finishing works

-Strong execution standards

Qualifications

BE / BTech / Diploma in Civil Engineering or equivalent

Experience Requirements

-15–22 years of experience in construction or real estate projects

-Strong experience in finishing works

-Experience in high-rise projects preferred

-Experience in premium or luxury projects is an advantage
