Key Responsibilities
1)Strategic Procurement
-Define and execute procurement strategies aligned with project and business needs
-Identify, evaluate, and onboard suppliers while negotiating optimal commercial terms
2)Vendor & Contractor Management
-Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and contractors
-Ensure timely material delivery and effective resolution of supply issues
-Coordinate with contractors for manpower deployment at project sites
3)Product & Industry Knowledge
-Maintain in-depth understanding of relevant products and systems
-Track industry trends, technology advancements, and market availability
4)Quality & Compliance
-Collaborate with quality teams to define and enforce material standards
-Conduct regular supplier audits and ensure regulatory compliance
5)Cost Optimization
-Negotiate pricing and contracts to achieve cost efficiencies
-Identify continuous cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality
6)Inventory & Planning
-Optimize inventory levels for critical and fast-moving items
-Forecast material requirements based on project pipelines
7)Contract Management
Manage supplier contracts, renewals, amendments, and compliance to terms
Team Leadership
-Lead, mentor, and develop the procurement team
-Drive capability building through training and knowledge-sharing initiatives
