Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced QA / Editor – E-Learning professional to ensure high-quality instructional content for the Ciena Learning Program. The ideal candidate will have a strong editorial background, a keen eye for detail, and expertise in instructional design and e-learning standards.


Key Responsibilities

  • Review and edit e-learning content for grammar, structure, tone, and consistency (UK/US English).
  • Ensure content aligns with learning objectives and instructional design principles (Bloom’s Taxonomy).
  • Conduct QA checks for e-learning modules, ILTs, WBTs, and related training materials.
  • Collaborate with instructional designers, developers, and content creators to enhance content quality.
  • Maintain editorial standards, templates, and version control documentation.
  • Provide feedback to improve clarity, readability, and learner engagement.
  • Support accessibility and inclusive language best practices.
  • Mentor junior editors and contribute to process improvement initiatives.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 7+ years of experience in Editing / QA for E-Learning or Training Content.
  • Excellent command of UK & US English with adaptability in tone and style.
  • Strong understanding of Instructional Design and Adult Learning Principles.
  • Hands-on exposure to Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, or similar tools.
  • Proficiency in content structuring, readability enhancement, and editorial QA.
  • Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Experience working in fast-paced environments and managing multiple stakeholders.
