About the Role:
We are looking for an experienced Operations Manager with a strong background in FTL logistics and team handling. This role involves managing transportation operations, coordinating with vendors/drivers, and ensuring smooth, compliant logistics workflows.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee FTL shipments, ensuring smooth and timely transportation as per SOPs
- Lead and support operational teams for high performance and process adherence
- Coordinate with drivers, vendors, and clients to meet delivery timelines
- Maintain accurate records and prepare regular operational reports
- Resolve escalations professionally and efficiently
- Communicate client requirements clearly to internal teams
- Collaborate with finance for accurate and timely invoice processing
- Ensure PODs and other supporting documents are submitted on time
- Validate vendor invoices and ensure compliance with company policies
- Coordinate with clients to obtain missing documents to avoid shipment delays
- Must be fluent in Hindi to effectively manage drivers and vendors
Must-Have Skills:
- 5+ years of experience in FTL logistics operations
- Proven team management skills
- Strong coordination, communication, and escalation-handling abilities
- Comfortable working in fast-paced logistics environments
- Fluency in Hindi is mandatory
