Job Summary:
We are looking for a proactive and skilled Industrial Engineer to drive production efficiency and continuous improvement within the apparel manufacturing setup. The ideal candidate will focus on optimizing manpower, processes, and time standards to meet production targets effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure timely execution of production targets across sewing and related areas
- Monitor sewing efficiency and guide Factory IEs/operators toward achieving target KPIs
- Leverage sewing data banks to set benchmarks and targets for new styles
- Control MMR by reducing reliance on non-sample operators
- Monitor and maintain the Operator Skill Matrix and manage grading exercises
- Review and update SMV and thread consumption standards
- Mentor and train junior IEs for skill development
- Implement best practices to improve efficiency, product quality, and lead time
Preferred Candidate Profile:
- Diploma or B.Tech/B.E. in relevant field
- 8–12 years of experience in apparel industrial engineering
- Strong knowledge in: Process improvement, Lean manufacturing, Line & manpower balancing, Takt/Cycle time, Efficiency optimization, Production planning
- Proficiency in English and Hindi
