🔹 Role Overview:
Looking for a highly experienced API Architect with strong hands-on expertise in Kong and Apigee, who can lead cloud-native API design, migration, and deployment on AWS and Kubernetes.
🔹 Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement secure, cloud-native API solutions
- Lead API migration projects (from Apigee to Kong)
- Collaborate with business and technical teams for scalable architecture
- Ensure high availability and performance of API integrations
- Provide technical leadership and mentor team members
- Continuously align solutions with industry best practices and cloud trends
🔹 Must-Have Skills:
- 12+ years of overall experience in API architecture
- Hands-on expertise in Kong and Apigee (both mandatory)
- Experience in AWS Cloud and Kubernetes-based deployments
- Deep knowledge of API security standards (OAuth, OpenID)
- Strong understanding of API design patterns and migration strategy
- CI/CD pipeline exposure: Jenkins, Maven, Sonarqube, JUnit, Cloud Build
- Familiar with estimation models: Use Case Point, Story Point, etc.
- Preferred: AWS Certified / Thought leadership via blogs, whitepapers
