💼 Experience: 19–20 Years
🎓 Qualification: B.Tech / B.E. in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, or Industrial Engineering
🏢 Industry: Manufacturing (Preferred background in Defence is a plus)
🔹 Key Responsibilities:
🏗️ Facilities Infrastructure Management
- Oversee physical infrastructure, including factories, warehouses, and admin spaces.
- Ensure Green Building compliance, energy efficiency, and water/waste management.
- Implement preventive maintenance plans to reduce downtime and repair costs.
- Prepare annual budgets after 6–9 months and track performance to control costs.
🛠️ Procurement & Vendor Management
- Develop centralized procurement strategy for tools, equipment, and raw materials.
- Evaluate vendors and negotiate terms to ensure high-quality and cost-effective supply.
- Align procurement with production schedules and long-term business goals.
📦 Inventory Optimization
- Ensure effective inventory control systems across facilities.
- Minimize wastage and avoid stockouts to streamline operations.
⚖️ Compliance & Safety
- Ensure full adherence to all local/state regulations.
- Coordinate with compliance teams and conduct safety audits.
- Implement emergency response protocols and conduct regular drills.
🌱 Sustainability Initiatives
- Drive energy-saving and eco-friendly initiatives across locations.
- Promote recycling, waste reduction, and compliance with green practices.
📈 Continuous Improvement & Technology Integration
- Leverage BMS/CMMS and other tech tools for efficient facility management.
- Stay updated with industry innovations and implement best practices.
📣 Stakeholder Coordination
- Serve as the point of contact for all facility-related concerns.
- Maintain up-to-date documentation for inspections and audits.
- Provide detailed facility performance reports to senior management.
🧠 Preferred Competencies:
- Strong project leadership for facility expansion or modernization
- Team management across civil, electrical, and mechanical disciplines
- In-depth knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing systems, and EHS norms
- Proven record in handling multi-location manufacturing facilities
📌 Bonus:
- Candidates from Defence background are strongly preferred.
- Master’s degree or additional certifications in Facilities/Operations/Management are an added advantage.
