Position: Senior Manager – Domestic MICE
📍 Location: Mumbai
🎓 Education: Any Graduate (IATA Diploma a plus)
📈 Experience: 6–10 Years in Travel & Tourism (MICE focus)
Role Overview:
You will lead end-to-end operations for domestic MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, Exhibitions), driving strategic planning, flawless execution, and profitability across corporate events, dealer meets, incentive tours, and trade shows.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operational Leadership: Oversee all phases of domestic MICE projects—planning, logistics, on-site execution, and post-event closure.
- Strategy & Design: Develop and implement operational strategies tailored to each event type (corporate events, incentive tours, conferences, exhibitions).
- Client Collaboration: Partner with sales and account teams to capture client objectives and translate them into customized MICE solutions.
- Vendor Management: Negotiate rates and manage relationships with hotels, airlines, DMCs, venues, transport vendors, and other suppliers.
- Cost Optimization: Drive budget control and margin enhancement without compromising service quality.
- Team Management: Mentor, coach, and monitor performance of the MICE operations team; ensure clear delegation and training.
- Site Inspections: Conduct venue recce, finalize contracts, and validate service arrangements per client briefs.
- Compliance & Safety: Guarantee adherence to health, safety, legal, and client-specific standards.
- Monitoring & Reporting: Track project budgets, timelines, and deliverables; maintain MIS reports, feedback analyses, and post-event closure documents.
- Problem-Solving: Address real-time challenges with strategic solutions to ensure seamless event delivery.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- Proven track record in domestic MICE operations within the travel & tourism industry.
- Strong negotiation skills and a network of vendor contacts across Mumbai and pan-India.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder-management abilities.
- Detail-oriented with a results-driven mindset and the ability to thrive under tight deadlines.
- Proficiency in MICE-industry tools and MIS/reporting systems.
