📌 Key Responsibilities
Government Liaisoning
-Act as the primary point of contact with local, state, and central government authorities
-Build and maintain strong working relationships with officials, regulatory bodies, and departments
-Track updates in laws, regulations, and policies impacting real estate and construction
Approvals & Permissions
-Coordinate and secure approvals, permits, licenses, and clearances for projects
-Prepare, submit, and track statutory applications and documentation
-Follow up with authorities to resolve delays, objections, or compliance gaps
Compliance & Regulatory Management
-Ensure compliance with land laws, building regulations, environmental norms, and statutory requirements
-Conduct periodic compliance reviews and identify potential risks
-Develop internal processes to maintain ongoing regulatory adherence
Stakeholder & Relationship Management
-Represent the organization in meetings, negotiations, and discussions with authorities and external stakeholders
-Maintain relationships with industry bodies, consultants, and local stakeholders
Project Support & Documentation
-Support project teams, architects, and contractors on regulatory matters
-Assist in preparation and review of land documents, NOCs, agreements, and approvals
-Ensure accuracy and compliance in all liaisoning-related documentation
Advisory & Risk Management
-Provide guidance on regulatory risks, policy changes, and approval strategies
-Monitor industry trends and recommend process improvements
🎯 Required Skills & Experience
– 10–18 years of experience in liaisoning / regulatory affairs within real estate
-Strong knowledge of real estate laws, building codes, and approval processes
-Experience working with local, state, and central authorities
-Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
-Strong analytical ability and attention to detail
-Ability to manage multiple approvals and deadlines simultaneously
