Deputy Manager โ€“ Pricing

๐Ÿง‘โ€๐Ÿ’ผ Role Type : Full-time

Key Responsibilities

-Support development and execution of trade pricing strategies to optimize container movement across routes and destinations

-Assist in preparation of monthly budgets and defining minimum rate guidelines (MRG) for assigned trade lanes

-Conduct periodic trade performance reviews and analyze variances against budgets and targets

-Prepare data, reports, and insights for trade and pricing review meetings

-Perform market research and competitor analysis to track pricing trends and opportunities

-Review and support approval of special rate requests, detention charges, and pricing deviations

-Prepare and maintain MIS and performance dashboards with actionable insights for management

-Work with finance teams to analyze cost structures and support cost optimization initiatives

-Provide analytical inputs for profitability assessment of new trade routes and network expansion proposals

-Coordinate with procurement teams to ensure slot costs remain within approved budgets

-Collaborate with Key Account Management teams to support customer pricing requirements

-Contribute to cross-functional collaboration and knowledge sharing across teams

Required Skills & Experience

-Experience in pricing, trade management, or commercial analytics within logistics, shipping, or transportation sectors

-Strong analytical and data interpretation skills

-Ability to work with budgets, pricing models, and variance analysis

-Proficiency in preparing MIS, reports, and presentations

-Good understanding of market dynamics and competitor pricing

-Strong coordination and stakeholder management skills
