Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Optical Engineer / Senior Engineer / Technical Lead with strong expertise in Optical Deployment, DWDM, and Ciena Systems. The role involves commissioning, provisioning, and troubleshooting optical network systems across global environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and execute Optical Deployment projects, ensuring smooth implementation and performance optimization.
- Perform Commissioning & Provisioning, turn-up, and testing of new routes.
- Troubleshoot issues in greenfield and brownfield deployments.
- Work extensively with Ciena 6500, Waveserver, RLS, and OTN technologies.
- Collaborate effectively with global teams for project delivery and technical support.
- Maintain documentation and ensure compliance with operational standards.
Required Skills & Experience
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in Optical Networks.
- Strong expertise in DWDM, Ciena 6500, RLS, OTN, and Waveserver.
- Proven experience in Optical Commissioning, Provisioning, and Troubleshooting.
- Excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills for working in global teams.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
