Role Objective
To prepare and submit competitive MEP tenders with precision, compliance, and profitability while ensuring timely submissions and strategic pricing.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic (20%)
- Conduct detailed market research to identify MEP project opportunities and trends.
- Develop competitive pricing models and strategic tender plans to achieve winning rates.
- Perform in-depth rate analysis and vendor negotiations for best pricing.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, and industry partners.
- Represent the company in industry forums to enhance brand visibility.
Implementation (50%)
- Perform thorough rate analysis ensuring 12–15% profitability per project.
- Ensure timely and accurate tender submissions.
- Maintain confidentiality and oversee all tender documentation.
- Track tender calls and ensure prompt response and submission.
- Communicate price bid results to management and accounts team.
Managerial (20%)
- Lead and guide the tendering team of engineers and support staff.
- Assign and monitor responsibilities, ensuring quality and timeliness of deliverables.
- Mentor team members and conduct regular performance evaluations.
- Present periodic reports and strategic insights to senior management.
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives based on feedback and analysis.
Other Tasks (10%)
- Attend daily meetings (Conference, SERM, etc.) as required.
- Demonstrate strong multi-tasking and coordination skills.
Preferred Qualifications & Experience
- B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical, Electrical, or related field
- Proven experience in tendering for MEP projects, ideally within construction or real estate sectors
- Sound knowledge of MEP systems, tendering procedures, and industry standards
- Strong negotiation, analytical, and leadership skills
- Proficiency in English, Hindi, and at least one Indian regional language
