Project Manager – Smart Switch Projects

We are seeking a Project Manager to oversee the development and deployment of embedded firmware for smart switch hardware platforms. This role requires a blend of technical knowledge, strategic planning, and leadership.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Leadership: Formulate comprehensive project plans, including schedules, resource allocation, and risk mitigation.
  • Team Management: Lead, mentor, and foster high-performing software teams.
  • Technical Oversight: Provide guidance on architecture, design, and validation, ensuring compliance with operating systems like Linux and FreeBSD.
  • Quality Assurance: Supervise the creation of robust test plans and advocate for best practices in software development.
  • Stakeholder Management: Maintain clear communication with internal teams, external partners, and clients.
  • Budgeting & Risk Management: Monitor project expenditures, optimize resource allocation, and proactively manage project risks.

Skills & Expertise:

  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years in project management within embedded systems, with at least 3 years focused on device driver development.
  • Technical Expertise: Profound knowledge of OS architecture, kernel programming, and hardware interface protocols (e.g., PCIe, USB, I2C).
  • Leadership: Proven ability to manage cross-functional teams and coordinate multiple projects concurrently.
  • Tools & Methodologies: Experience with project management tools (e.g., Jira, Trello, MS Project) and familiarity with Agile or Scrum methodologies.
  • Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to convey technical concepts to diverse audiences.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field. A Master’s degree or PMP certification is a plus.
