We are looking for an experienced Plumbing & Fire Fighting Design Engineer to join our MEP Design & Consultancy team. The ideal candidate will have proven expertise in residential, commercial, industrial, and hospitality projects, with hands-on experience in design, documentation, and execution as per national and international codes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead Plumbing & Fire Fighting design for multi-disciplinary projects.
- Prepare Design Basis Reports, BOQs, cost estimates, efficiency analysis.
- Perform design calculations and equipment selection for plumbing & fire systems.
- Work on Plumbing SLDs, technical drawings, water demand assessments, water mass diagrams.
- Review, verify, and audit shop drawings and construction specifications.
- Conduct quality assurance checks to ensure compliance with codes and project standards.
- Mentor drafting/design teams for accuracy and quality.
- Coordinate with clients and stakeholders for design reviews and approvals.
- Flexibility to travel for site visits as required.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in Plumbing & Fire Fighting system design.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Excel, PowerPoint, Word.
- Strong knowledge of national and international design codes.
- Experience in Steam, Utility & Process Engineering (preferred).
- Strong report writing, specification drafting, and client communication skills.
