We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Design Engineer to join our growing MEP Design & Consultancy team. The ideal candidate will have extensive hands-on experience in electrical systems engineering design, documentation, and compliance with international and national codes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage electrical design on multi-disciplinary projects.
- Create, assemble, and review a complete set of electrical design documents.
- Perform load calculations, fault level analysis, switchgear sizing, cable schedules, voltage drop & earthing calculations.
- Select equipment including UPS, Transformers, DGs, Substation Equipment.
- Work on ELV, MV & LV systems (Data Voice, CCTV, FAS, LPS, IBMS, Building Automation).
- Develop SLDs, DB detailing & wiring diagrams.
- Review and audit construction specifications.
- Conduct site visits to assess contractor’s work.
- Mentor and guide drafting/design teams for quality assurance.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in electrical systems engineering design.
- Strong knowledge of NEC, IEC & NBC codes.
- Proficiency in Dialux, MS Excel, PowerPoint, Word.
- Familiarity with ELV, LPS, FAS, Data Voice & CCTV.
- Ability to work independently and handle design + execution responsibilities.
- Flexibility for occasional site travel.
