Role Overview:
Responsible for end-to-end project planning, scheduling, progress monitoring, and client/subcontractor billing activities for a Water Treatment Plant (WTP) project. This role ensures adherence to timelines, budgets, and contractual norms.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Project Planning & Scheduling
- Develop and maintain project schedules using MS Project/Primavera.
- Create micro-level plans for procurement, construction, testing, and commissioning.
- Align plans across engineering, procurement, and construction teams.
- Track progress and prepare weekly/monthly schedule updates.
- Identify risks and propose corrective actions for delays or deviations.
2. Billing & Documentation
- Prepare and submit RA bills to clients per contract terms.
- Draft subcontractor/vendor bills based on verified progress.
- Reconcile work measurements with site and client teams.
- Maintain billing documentation, MBs, and supporting records.
- Coordinate bill certification and payment follow-ups.
3. Cost & Budget Monitoring
- Assist in preparing budgets and cash flow forecasts.
- Track cost vs. budget, reporting variances to management.
- Monitor material and manpower usage for cost efficiency.
4. Coordination & Reporting
- Liaise with clients, consultants, and subcontractors for planning/billing.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reports.
- Participate in project review meetings and document action items.
5. Compliance & Quality
- Ensure adherence to technical specs, contracts, and quality norms.
- Provide accurate records for internal/external audits.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Education: B.E. / B.Tech in Civil Engineering
- Certifications: Primavera/MS Project (preferred)
- Software Skills: Proficiency in MS Project, Primavera, MS Excel
- Technical: Strong knowledge of billing, BOQ, rate analysis
- Soft Skills: Analytical thinking, communication, coordination, attention to detail
