We are looking for a Corporate Lawyer with solid experience in handling Venture Capital (VC) transactions independently, ideally from a law firm background. The ideal candidate will have strong drafting and negotiation skills and be comfortable leading deals within the startup and investment ecosystem.
🔹 Role Summary:
- Lead and execute VC transaction documentation including Term Sheets, SHA, SSA, and Due Diligence Reports
- Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of commercial agreements and investment-related documents
- Advise on fundraising, governance, and compliance
- Coordinate with stakeholders, clients, investors, and internal teams for smooth transaction flow
- Stay updated on legal developments in company law, startup investments, and compliance
🔹 Key Requirements:
- Qualification: LLB (CS or LLM is a plus)
- Experience: Minimum 3 years post-qualification in corporate/VC transactions
- Must-have: Law firm background with independent VC transaction handling experience
- Sound knowledge of Companies Act, FEMA, SEBI guidelines, and startup structures
- Excellent command of contract drafting, negotiation, and client handling
