Position: PCB CAD Engineer

Key Skills Required:
- Footprint Creation & CAD Library Management
- Experience with Altium, Siemens, Mentor Graphics, Expedition
- PCB Layout (Digital, Analog, Mixed-Signal)
- Knowledge of SMT, Through-Hole, and Multilayer PCB Design
- Understanding of TQC/Six Sigma Methodologies
- DFM (Design for Manufacturability), DFT (Design for Testability)
- Strong command over EDA CAD tools and design standards
Job Summary:
We are hiring a skilled PCB CAD Engineer to support CAD library development and PCB design layout activities. You will work closely with the electronics design team to create accurate and manufacturable circuit board designs using industry-standard EDA tools.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain CAD libraries including symbols, footprints, and geometries.
- Support PCD layout development using Mentor Graphics (Boardstation, Expedition) and Altium tools.
- Perform component placement, signal routing, test point inclusion, and artwork generation.
- Ensure adherence to DFM and DFT standards for optimal board design.
- Collaborate with hardware designers to apply high-speed constraints and signal integrity checks.
- Contribute to establishing and improving CAD standards and processes.
- Work within structured environments and use Six Sigma methodologies for design quality enhancement.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- Strong knowledge of electronic circuits, components, and PCB layout principles.
- Hands-on experience in CAD tools including Altium, Siemens, and Mentor Graphics.
- Proficiency in handling complex board layouts with digital, analog, or mixed technologies.
- Familiar with multilayer PCB design and best layout practices.
